Territory Sales Manager Plates & Prepress, Southeastern
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Develop and implement strategies to increase XSYS market share for plates and prepress equipment at the regional level in the Southeastern U.S.
Position Responsibilities:
- Meet yearly sales targets in all product areas by selling the entire XSYS Plates and Prepress product line – both breadth and depth in accounts.
- Build, maintain and oversee all aspects of customer relationships, including: sales, inventory forecasting, technical support, and accounts receivables.
- Find and build up new customers (min 20% of reporting customers in the territory should be new customers in any given year) in the designated territory to strengthen the customer base in alignment with the approved strategies for the US – 1.) build up and strengthen the business with integrated printers 2.) grow in the thermal business and 3.) grow in high end flexible packaging.
- Be accountable to sell “bundle deals” to direct customers in the territory – XSYS as a solution provider for Plates, Prepress Equipment and other related services.
- Be accountable to increase the revenue from service contracts in the territory – 30% increase in revenue year on year as a target.
- Manage distributor relationships within the territory to maximize sales of XSYS Global’s product portfolio for plates and prepress equipment.
- Effectively interact with customers as well as numerous internal functional groups, such as product management, material planning, production management, technical service and marketing.
- Create new and maintain current records and data in designated systems.
- Coordinate with Director of Sales – National Accounts, Territory Sales Managers, and Sales Operations Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess excellent sales skills and at least five years’ experience in technical sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of flexographic wide-web flexible and corrugated packaging printing in particular and other print disciplines in general. – Knowledge of packaging inks a plus.
- Must be able to travel to customer locations throughout the territory. Extensive travel required, min 2-3 days per week on average.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; candidate must be able to effectively interact with customers, internal customer service, technical service, management, and sales team.
- Good written, verbal, and reporting skills, utilizing database, spreadsheet, presentation and word-processing software.
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and self-directed.
- Candidate must reside in the U.S. Candidate will have the ability to work remotely/telecommute. Due to travel requirements, an ideal candidate would reside in close proximity to a major airport.
- Conduct all business as a representative of XSYS Global in a professional manner.
- Be recognized by customers as a business consultant.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of Spanish a plus.
- Must have passion to build up a region, must be highly resilient and self-motivated.

Quality Engineer

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
- To provide leadership for the team of auditors, and to support the rest of the Quality Team in daily activities.
- To support Production through assessing and troubleshooting immediate concerns.
- To help lead the drive for continuous process improvement through data analysis, root cause failure analysis, and identifying corrective actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership: Along with the Lead Auditor, provide leadership to the team of auditors; organize and coach when required.
- Non-conforming product: Work with Lead Auditor to review documentation. Provide analysis on data, and follow up with corrective actions where needed. Present all findings from test and inspection, and review the results with the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Customer complaints: Work in conjunction with the Snr Quality Coordinator and the Quality Manager. Investigate, provide corrective actions, and report as needed.
- ISO 9001 internal auditing.
- Continuous improvement: Report and analyze data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to provide direction for Quality improvement. Lead improvement teams and activities. Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to drive improvements.
- Supplier Quality: Work with Purchasing Department on new product. Review and monitor COAs. Report on supplier quality problems, and corrective action requests.
- General production support: Defect analysis and troubleshooting.
- Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Quality Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- BS/BA in Engineering, or a technical field, desired. Associates Degree or equivalent experience considered.
- 5 plus years experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good leadership skills
- Good level of computer literacy – Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel, but including Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills. Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and 8D problem solving a plus.
- Working understanding of statistical methods and tools.

The Printing Press Helper is responsible for assisting in routine aspects of press operation by performing manual and machine operator tasks in the set-up, maintenance and operation of Anagram’s wide web flexographic presses. This includes loading of printing plates, rolls of film and other general labor involved with the operation of the press The Press Helper confirms that presses are supplied properly prior to print production to ensure safety, quality, and press efficiencies are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist the press operator in preparing the printing press for operation.
o Gather inks, stock, and plate cylinders
o Fit bushings, gears and side to side compensator on cylinders
o Load set-up film on to the press
o Unwrap and tape down plates
o Check ink viscosity as per ink sheet
· Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
· Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions, and any special customer requirements
· Fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed
· Continuously check for quality defects on jobs
· Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end
· Assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product
· Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
· Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
· Palletize stacks of finished product on skid
· Remove product skids and change waste bins
· Must be trained and qualified to operate the Roll Handling equipment
· Run presses through breaks when needed
· Contribute to overtime needs to meet customer demands when applicable
· Play an active role in the light maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding work area
· Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements

Expected Working Hours
Shifts are regularly scheduled 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm for a total of 84 hours per two week pay period. Rotation includes two days working, two days off, and every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
