Although Jean and Mark have very different backgrounds and career paths, they are in complete agreement that the makeup of FTA and flexographic industry leadership has changed dramatically over the past few decades due in large part to greater interest being expressed by women in pursuing leadership opportunities. Everyone knows the “early flexo years” as being stereotypically male dominated. As the workforce evolved, more and more opportunities were seized by women as female industry pioneers actively paved the way by telling their story and encouraging young women to consider a career in a very progressive market.
